Majestic Research Corp. ("Majestic") has implemented a set of Privacy Principles ("Principles") in this Privacy Policy ("Policy"), which describes how we collect, use, and share personally identifiable information (information that can be used to identify you, such as your full name, email address, mailing address, user name or telephone number) ("PII") we obtain from and about individuals both online and off-line. This Policy applies to all research, services and web sites owned or provided by Majestic.

The Majestic website and research is directed to a general or industry audience, and Majestic does not knowingly collect PII from children under 13 years of age.

From time to time we may revise this Policy to reflect industry initiatives or changes in the law, our information collection and use practices, the features of the Majestic sites, or technology. If we make revisions that change the way we collect or use PII, those changes will be posted in this Policy and the effective date will be noted at the beginning of this Policy. Therefore, you should review it periodically so that you are up to date on our most current policies and practices. COLLECTION: Collection of PII by Majestic

General. Majestic provides clients with unique insights on key performance metrics through research driven by real-time sources of information that enable us to report on trends within a company or industry. Our goal is to help clients, among other things, evaluate sales trends or product launches, analyze revenue streams, and assess market share. Majestic collects PII only if it believes the information is relevant to the market or product analysis carried out by the company for its clients.

Majestic sometimes collects PII in order to create or enhance its services to its clients. When we collect PII it is because the information is freely available on a public website, web page or web forum. PII may be used to conduct surveys or otherwise used to form the basis of research carried out by Majestic. Majestic may obtain PII from third parties that it considers to be reputable.

Please keep in mind that whenever you disclose personal information in public areas of internet websites, your information can be viewed and possibly used by others.

Cookies. Cookies are small bits of information that may be placed on the hard drive of your computer when you visit the Majestic site. We may use cookies to recognize users who have already registered at a Majestic site, allowing those users to speed up their future activities on the Majestic site.

You can set your computer to alert you each time a cookie is being sent or to refuse cookies completely. However, without cookies, you may not have access to certain features on the Majestic site.

Web beacons. The Majestic site may contain electronic images known as Web beacons - sometimes called single-pixel gifs - that may be used to assist in delivering or accessing cookies on our sites and allow us to count users who have visited those pages and to deliver services. We may include Web beacons in promotional e-mail messages or our research in order to determine whether messages have been opened and acted upon.

Through this Policy we will inform you about who is collecting your information, how and why the information is being collected, and the types of uses Majestic will make of the information. Through this Policy Majestic will notify you of your options regarding our use of your PII (See "Choice" below). This Policy describes the types of other companies with whom we may want to share your personal information, as provided in this Policy (See "Use" below).

Majestic is not responsible for the privacy practices of web sites operated by third parties that are linked to the Majestic site or from which Majestic may collect PII. You should check the applicable privacy policy of the third party websites that you access or upon which you place information to determine how they will handle any PII they collect from you.

CHOICE: Majestic Will Provide You with Choices About the Use of Your PII

Majestic will not use your PII for purposes different from those which this Policy states or for purposes beyond those stated in this Policy. If you wish to communicate your preference that your PII not be used by Majestic, you may contact Majestic directly at the information listed at the end of this Policy.

USE: Majestic's Use of PII

Majestic will use PII in a manner that is consistent with these Privacy Principles. If Majestic obtains PII from a third party, such as a business partner, our use of that information is governed by this Policy. Majestic may use PII to carry out research or to form the basis of analysis undertaken by Majestic. Generally, PII collected and used to carry out Majestic's research activities is used for purposes of analysis, but is shared in an aggregate, anonymous form in resulting research. PII collected by Majestic is only made available to its employees, agents and contractors who have a legitimate business reason to have access to such information. The information is secure and only disclosed to employees on a need to know basis. Majestic does not sell PII to its customers.

Majestic may share your PII with other companies in order to reasonably carry out Majestic's research activities and to help Majestic manage its information activities. These companies have agreed only to use PII to provide Majestic with a specific service. These companies have agreed not to share your information with any third party or use it for any other purpose. Majestic requires such companies to adhere to industry best practices in handling and use of PII and to keep the information secure and to disclose such information to employees on a need to know basis to carry out research.

There may be instances when Majestic may disclose PII without providing you with a choice in order to protect the legal rights of Majestic, or their employees, agents, and contractors; to protect the safety and security of visitors to our web sites; to investigate, prevent or protect against suspected fraud, illegal activity, violations of our user agreement or for risk management purposes; or to respond to subpoenas, court orders, or legal process, or to establish or exercise our legal rights or defend against legal claims. In addition, if Majestic sells all or part of its business or makes a sale or transfer of assets or is otherwise involved in a merger or business transfer, Majestic may transfer your PII to a third party as part of that transaction.

SECURITY: Majestic Protects the Security of PII

Majestic uses reasonable administrative, technical, personnel, and physical measures to safeguard PII in its possession against loss, theft and unauthorized use, disclosure, or modification.

Notwithstanding these security measures, please be aware that when you submit PII to publicly accessible websites, web pages or other web forums or submit PII directly to Majestic, the information may travel over many systems that are not under Majestic's control and may not be secure.

If a password is used to help protect your accounts and personal information, it is your responsibility to keep your password confidential. Do not share this information with anyone. Anyone who has access to your password will have access to your PII, as well as to any credit card information that you have submitted. If you are sharing a computer with anyone you should always log out before leaving a site or service to protect access to your information from subsequent users.
